Now are the 16 years old Mortlach out of
stock on the
Swedish retailer.
The shelves on the
Swedish retailer, systembolaget, has for a time been empty on the spot
where the Mortlach normally was seen.
Now is it confirmed that the bottle is gone for this time (year).
Systembolaget will have more Mortlach to sell next year, so we have to
wait.
Happily, WSMS has some
Mortlach in the stock so the waiting will not be so lonely.

The 15 years old GLENDRONACH has disappeared
again.
Glendronach
disappeared first time for a year ago. In august systembolaget began to
sell it again and this time the whisky was introduced in the regular range
at the Swedish systembolaget. Now it has disappeared again. During this
autumn and winter the shelf where the Glendronach was placed, was quite
frequently low of bottles, a sign that this whisky was popular. WSMS will
follow how this matter develops for the future.

Glendronach.

A new year and a new tasting
!!!
WSMS hold a
tasting in the beginning of the new year, 3/1. What a tasting, check out
the bottles that was tasted: Glenrothes 1989,
Glendronach 15y and 18y, Macallan 18y 1982 and a Macallan Grand Reserva
from 1980. This was a sherry tasting and all of the tasted
bottles was full of this sweetness, you can imagine the joy of this
moment. WSMS had bought a "hard to find" bottle of the 18 years old
Glendronach witch was a wonderful whisky, but
in the end
it was the Macallan Grand Reserva witch
was victorious and scored 91 points, enough to reach the top ten.
Check her for the tasting
notes.
